He graduated in Law in 1986 from the University of Palermo and was admitted to the bar two years later. He began his professional career in 1991 as Deputy Director at the VAT Office in Bologna (handling litigation). The following year, until 1996, he worked in the Credit Supervision Division of the Bank of Italy, later moving to the Competition, Regulatory, and General Affairs Service of Supervision until 1999, and finally to the Financial Statement Analysis Division until February 2000. He continued his career with leading companies such as Deloitte, Pavia e Ansaldo, and Watson Farley & Williams. Since February 2024, he has been the Managing Partner at the law firm Regulatory Law – Società tra Avvocati and, previously, he was a Partner at the Grimaldi law firm. As of the Admission Document Date, he serves on numerous management and supervisory boards of listed companies and regulated entities.
