Comtel finalises the acquisition of the unified communication division of NEC corporation.
The transaction involves all the activities of the UC division in the EMEA area.
NEC ITALIA changes its name to COMTEL INNOVATION, NEC NEDERLAND becomes COMTEL INTERNATIONAL, positioning the Comtel brand also in the foreign markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Stefano Asperti is appointed CEO of the two companies, Fabio Maria Lazzerini takes over as President of COMTEL INTERNATIONAL and Carlo Nardello is appointed President of COMTEL INNOVATION.
