This notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and describes how personal data collected through the website www.comtelitalia.it is processed.

1. Data controller and DPO

The data controller is Com.Tel S.p.A., Viale Piero e Alberto Pirelli 10/a, 20126 Milan (Italy), VAT no. 04367511005, email info@comtelitalia.it.

The company has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be reached at dpo@comtelitalia.it.

2. Data we process

2.1 Browsing data

The systems running this website acquire some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet protocols: IP address, requested URL, time and method of the request, response code and technical information about the browser. This data is used only to ensure the correct operation and security of the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), is not used to profile users and is kept in the server logs for the time strictly necessary, and in any case no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate computer crimes.

The website does not use analytics or profiling tools, does not embed content from social networks and serves its fonts from its own server: browsing the site does not send data to third parties.

2.2 Contact form

Through the contact form we collect first name, last name, email address, phone number and the content of your message, in order to reply to your request (pre-contractual measures taken at your request and consent, Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary to receive a reply. The data is kept for the time needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months; for users who become customers, for the duration of the contract and up to 2 months after its termination.

2.3 Job applications

Through the "Work with us" form we collect personal and contact details, your CV and any message, in order to assess your application (consent and pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Please do not include special categories of data (e.g. health data) in your CV unless strictly necessary. The data is kept for a maximum of 24 months from receipt, in the legitimate interest of the controller to have professional profiles available for future openings.

2.4 Emails sent by users

Sending emails to the addresses shown on this website entails the acquisition of the sender's address and of any other personal data contained in the message, which are used only to reply.

3. Who processes the data

The data is processed by authorised and trained staff of the controller (Art. 29 GDPR) and by the following service providers, appointed as data processors:

  • Netsons S.r.l. (Pescara, Italy), hosting provider of the website, with servers located in the European Union;
  • Microsoft, provider of the company email service (Microsoft 365) through which the messages sent via the forms are delivered;
  • companies of the Comtel group, where needed to follow up on your request.

The data is not disseminated and is not transferred outside the European Economic Area, except for any transfers by sub-processors covered by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses (Articles 45 and 46 GDPR). The updated list of data processors is available at the controller's registered office.

4. Cookies

The website only uses technical cookies needed for it to work. Details are in the cookie policy.

5. Your rights

You may at any time exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Requests can be sent to info@comtelitalia.it or to the DPO at dpo@comtelitalia.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

6. Minors

The website is not intended for persons under 16 years of age and does not knowingly collect their data. Any data collected inadvertently will be deleted promptly.
