Sustainability
Innovating responsibly
Sustainability is part of how we innovate. It stems from a sense of responsibility: acting consciously, communicating transparently and improving continuously.
In this section we present the governance that steers decisions and controls through clear roles, risk management and protected reporting channels; the growth of our people through skills development and inclusive work practices; and the environment, reporting the main environmental aspects of our operations according to clearly stated criteria and methodologies.
ESG HIGHLIGHTS 2024
Our journey towards a sustainable future
The document provides an overview of the main results of 2024: criteria, methodologies and information organised into the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) areas.
It is how we transparently share data and practices, demonstrating the responsibility with which we approach every area of our business.
GOVERNANCE
Integrity, accountability and verifiable processes
Governance guides decisions and behaviour, defining roles and responsibilities and integrating ethical principles, risk management and internal control. In the digital sphere it adopts information security and data protection measures, with traceable, verifiable processes and protected reporting channels. In this way it ensures transparency, business continuity and regulatory compliance across the entire life cycle of our services and stakeholder relationships.
The goal is to turn rules into everyday practice, building trust and lasting results.
ENVIRONMENT
Transparency on consumption and emissions
Responsible energy management is Comtel's concrete commitment to reducing its environmental impact. We monitor consumption and promote efficiency measures to help build a more sustainable future.
To this end we have adopted an environmental policy that guides operational and strategic choices, centred on the conscious use of resources, the reduction of emissions and the spread of a culture of environmental responsibility.
SOCIAL
Skills growth, inclusion and wellbeing
Social sustainability takes shape in our work practices, supporting professional growth and continuous upskilling, and protecting wellbeing and safety in digital work through training and awareness. It also fosters collaboration and accessibility with tools and ways of working that enable participation and meritocracy.
The goal is to turn skills into opportunities, creating inclusive environments where everyone can express their full potential.
